Glad you like it.
Sure I wanna do an article. As soon as the contest dio is finished, I'll write that article.
It's not Balse Wood. Don't know the exact name, but I'll let you guys know tonight. (Balsawood is too soft for this type o' work.... if I use that Dremeltool on Balsa it'll probably turn into powder)

GateKeeper,
About the straw you are right. It still needs some paint to look like it's supposed to look....
But......therefore it's.....to be continued.. (:-)

Jeff,
It's december 24 1944, tomorrow it's Christmas. In a deserted shed near the town of Bastogne a lonely soldier "enjoys" a last night of R&R...... well the rest is out here in some other posts.
Still a lot to do before it's Christmas.... Back to modeling again..

Howdy all,
some people asked me what type of wood I used.
I use abachi wood. It's a strong sort of wood, mostly used for building wooden model ships. When soaked with water you can bend it almost in any position without damaging the wood. Let it dry and the wood remains in the bent position....
I like it in 1/35 scale because of the fine grain it has.

Lookin´ good Mr Carpenter!
It seems that you´re putting in your best efforts!
When you get this finished, I have a balcony to fix if you need a job?
Looking too good, actually...

Toni, that won't be before fall. Danny's already booked for our new roof and a new deck in the garden, and my brother-in-law is planning to build a new garage.
We'll let him finish that dio first. That keeps the competitioni alive !
