Hi,
I'm doing a little researce for a friend who is building a Leopard 1 and needs to know the Model Master paints used for the three color camo .
The colors he's looking for is the red brown and green. He uses Model Master (of which I'm not familiar with).
Can anyone help?
Cheers

The colors I use are:
Medium Green MM#1713 (FS34102)
Flat Black MM#1749 (FS37038)
I'm out of the Brown, but I believe that I use
Military Brown MM#1701 (FS30117)
There are no NATO colors offered by Testors in the Model Master line, but they do have the colors in their Polly Scale/Floquil line:
Floquil - F505350 NATO Tricolor Black (FS 37038)
Floquil - F505352 NATO Tricolor Brown (FS 30051)
Floquil - F505354 NATO Tricolor Green (FS 34094)

Above colors are good. I like to use Field Drab, MM# 1702, FS# 30018, as opposed to the Military Brown. Military Brown looks too red-brown to me. The colors don't stay that bright for long, and the Field Drab looks closer to what I have seen in the field.

I use the field drab as well. An early Leopard 1 could also be painted green drab all over. I saw lots of them in Germany in 77 this color before we all went into the Nato scheme later on.
