Hi all, me and Slavica had more fun last night and did more work on the vignette (actually she did, i painted some figures...)

So water is now in the stream, but we will add more depth to it. We used boat laquer for it.

Slavica added more grass and stuff and we darkened colours much. but still its only 50% done so lost more things to come, rasinig ground and filling the space to the frame, static grass, branches...

but first, we had some comments on local forum about bridge not realistic and better to use with SMURFS well we do this one for fun adn will ignore the bridge fault but for all friends who like smurfs, we appologise for not having some but we hope DWARF can do the trick

now, back to "realistic pics"

More pics on http://photobucket.com/albums/b226/ca2x/

cheers
Mirko

P.S.

she caught me cleaning up a 120mm figure head

Ola Mirko

Well although the bridge might not be correct I see some tricks you have pulled at this groundworks which will look very good when carried on to the next project. I love the way the grasses and mosses grow between the big stones and also the water looks very convincing. Maybe you could add a leaf or 3 floating among the surface of the stream.
The scene is nice and it shows the story pretty good. Great story, Nice vehicle too... what is it exactly?

Looking forward to the next progress

Hey Mirko,

Well I still stick to what I said before about the size of the stones etc but what I do like a lot if all the grass and moss etc growing everywhere on your diorama.

Something a lot of people forget! You sure haven't

Now go paint that armoured car

I can see that you are making nice progress on the dio so far. The water looks really good. I think this will be a very nice piece of work when you are both finished with it. I only have one question for you....

Why are you making Slavica do all the work??hummm... (++)
