Hi lads
Want to know what would be the standard configuration for said tank ie roadwheels/bogey assemblies.
Can build a full tank with spares inclusive of Italeri hull and turret, and have bogey and assemblies from the Dragon M4A1 and M4A2 kits...
Not boned on the nuances of upswept assemblies etc.
Basically want to build the most common version
Brad
P.S. if you could direct me to the part # for the Dragon bogey assemblies or even a pic would be bonzer

While I'm unfamiliar with the Italeri M4A3, here are components that you want your model to have:
75mm gun turret with cheek bulge, high bustle, M34A1 wide gun mantlet and loader's hatch. The commander's cupola could be the more common scoped one or the less common split hatch type.
VVS should be upswept bogies. The most common road wheels are the pressed type. The idler wheel would most likely be the pressed type too (as opposed to the open spoke).
No applique armor on hull sides. Sometimes units piled on sandbags or other field mod upgrades. Check your pictures. They tended to have some uniformity within units so don't just do sandbag and declare that it's 14AD without photo documentation. Some units used certain types of armor upgrade packages and some did not.
Frankly, the old Tamiya M4A3 kit is a very good representation of this model -- this kit can usually be found cheap and builds nicely with a few tweaks.

Roy hit the nail dead on. On the Italeri A3 you will have to replace the upper hull exhaust grating with the one found in the Tamiya kit (Italeri is post war). Both the Tamiya & Italeri high bustle turrets need the thickened cheek armour added to the right side of the turret . Both Tamiya & Italeri build up into good late 47degree A3s.
