I just purchased this awesome display of U.S. Armor.
I'd appreciate any advice on any PE & Resin accessories
for adding detail & accuracy. The kit itself looks very good, with no flash at all on any of the sprue parts. This is my first kit by Academy, and I must say that I'm very pleased.
I'd really like to hear from Modelers who have built this kit, and added aftermarket accessories.
THANK YOU.

While I just built the kit (see in gallery) I did not apply any after-markets to it. There are alot of options for add-ons from several manufactures. It's easier for me to send you to : www.greatmodels.com , click on "cross reference", than add "armor" "wwii", "us" , than click M18. There you will find all you could want.
(people are going to begin thinking I have something to do with greatmodels if I keep sending them there.) Nope! Just easier for me to get you the info you want.
Hope this helps.

You can do the same with Squadron.com. I'm mostly into modern armor, but because I work part time at a hobby store, I have to keep informed about all eras. I know there is quite a few after market items for that kit. :-)

Thanks guys, I Do buisness with both companies.
I should have been a little more clear on the subject, as to if there's any SPECIFIC Resin & PE
that I should look for to add accuracy, like ( .50 Cal MG, alumium 76mm Barrel, etc) And if anyone else had used any of these aftermarket accessories.
Ken - I left comments with your M18 Feature.

I have this M-18 also. I don't have the PE for it, but I do have the Jordi Rubio barrel for it. It is very nice, light weight, separate white metal muzzle brake. It can be used without the muzzle brake (like the Italeri M4A1). Tube is shown to be used with the M-18, M4A3 76mm, M4A3E8, M-10. Cheap place to get barrels is:

This barrel seems more (~$10) becasue of the muzzle brake and insert for use without the muzzle brake.
