What else is there to say other than amazing, and the attention to detail is top notch. I don’t know much about armor, but what I do know is that your armor inspires me to start building. What will happen to this tank once it’s finished. Will it go to a customer or on your shelf. What time frame was it used in and in what conditions. Looking forward to seeing the finial photos.

Looking good I love the look of this tank and I remember reading about it and building the Tamiya kit back in the 70s.

Joe, thanks, glad you like it. This one will go on my shelf. I have always liked the ugliness of it and wanted to do one for a while.
The M60A2 was developed to counter the Soviet hordes in Europe. It was a US Army tank, and only used by the US. It had the same 152mm combination gun/missile launcher as the Sheridan tank. It was used from the early '70s till the mid-'80s. It was plagued with problems because it was so advanced and went down as a footnote in history. The turrets were scrapped and many of the hulls were turned into AVLBs, so they still soldiered on.
More info on it at Patton-Mania.
