Looks great. I have the same Coree figure that I got when I was stationed in Korea. I added it to a base and used a DML SF guy on the ground. Great kit. Good job.

Great piece Marty... I can sense the "adrenaline"... :-)
Anyway... mind sharing a tip or two on how you made the rock face?

When you said that you didnt like the rock that came with the kit and decided to create your own...how exactly did you do it? Did you buy a mould and shaped it using either plaster or the likes of it?
Thats a great kit you have there by the way.

Great looking entry Marty. With so little you captured so much. Where did you get the figure from and do you have the kit number.

Joe,
Its a Coree kit. I don't have the number, but found it in Korea a few years back.

Thanks everyone.
Gino, is SOL the same as Coree? I am asking because the box that the figure came in says it is an SOL kit.
Anyhow, I made the rock using a single large black rubber mold I bought at a local railroad model shop. The casting was made using plaster of Paris. In retrospect I probably should have used Durham's water putty as it is stronger and doesn't crack as easily.
The entire kit (rock and figure) were painted in acrylics.

I believe so, they are both Korean companies, maybe they rebox each other's kits.

Very well done. This is very original (kit or not) and not sen well. Is this 120mm? The camo looks decent enough, but it looks a little too "splattered" for me. If you look at BDU camo carefully, you will see that there tends to be more or less "squiggles" and "streaks" over top of base streaks (usually green or black).
