... looks good, great idea & nice groundwork though i feel there's plenty of empty spaces around... and i like the goose (or is it a duck?), adds a touch of humour to it.
anyway my only comment is shouldn't the bridge be closer to the center of the dio? right now the position of the bridge is kinda distracting from the overall subject.... just IMHO.

This came out really well. I like it in it's finished state. Have to be honest I wasn't sure during construction. I am now. I like it.
A comment on the photo shoot - if you start photo editing on the computer you'll want to get a smoother background. The rough surface of the blanket creates lots of texture and will make editing tougher.

Very well done. With the bridge off center, you have to look at all of the dio.

Very nice John!
At last finished and looks great!!
I like the brigde! The position is perfect!
It shows the "oh [auto-censored]" idea of getting lost very well!
Came from the hills on the wrong way and ended up at the wrong bridge!!Very nice!
Good work!!

Great little diorama. Groundwork, Jeep and figures are all done very well. Adds humor to the situation the GI's are in.
Cheers !!

Hilarious, John! Nice alternative to the usual serious war dios. Hate to be a nitpicker, but you've got a typo on your name board -- it should read "A Bridge Too Small" and not " A Bridge to Small". Just a tiny detail.

This one turned out very nice John. It tells the story very well.

By the way John, did you ever finish the canteen truck dio? In my old age I can't remember if you did or not. Would like to see some photos of it if it is completed.

Very nice!
I disagree with the comments on empty space : you filled them very well with stones and herbs
Same with the bridge out of place : it makes the dio unique and original.
I still don't get the to instead of too...
What did you use for the grass? It looks good and short...
There are some very talented modelers out there... but "God / Nature / Evolution, you name it!" is still the best diorama builder I've seen the work of!

Great dio Very well done IMO That reminds me of a dio a guy did close to 20 years ago for a magazine called Military Modeler That mag has long since ceased to exist
It was called 'Falling off the Dio' It showed two brand new LT's in a Jeep that skidded off the road The front end was off the dio and the rear end was still on the dio

John
A really clever dio. Everything is visually balanced and the bridge extending off the end of the base is a nice touch.
