What's the best way to model them in 1/35 scale? Are there any premaid sets available? Any links?

Eddie, DML did some tracks with a couple of their wagon kits and I believe that Verlinden did/do some.

Eddie,

Verlinden produce 2 sets of railroad tracks ( cat. no. 1124 and 1128).
Tank Workshop also produces a set( cat. no. 1003)

There are (as noted) a number of pre-made sets.

If you want to scratch build a set you can easily. I took a plastruct/evergreen styrene "I" beam as a rail and square bass wood stock (balsa is too porous for this) as the ties. I built a small raised 'bed' with pakcing styrofoam and covered it with railroad balast.
The pins/stakes are just bent hobby wire

The dml ones are great. some improvement with a razor knife for texture and they are awsome. Add texture then paint Afrika Mustard testor spray. wait to dry then add heavy washes of browns and finally black.
that what I do for good results. ironside /Cmk set is the same set for both companies. Cmk gives you resin ballest . Ironside gives you no ballest at all and the flash is thick and fit is bad. RPM makes a track set that is seperate and can also be had with the BA-20 this set is not as good as dragon but is real cheap.

if you will have only one model onrails its ok the rails as come in the model but...

verlinden
ironside
cmk
5 starmodel
dragon dml
trumpeteer
tank workshop

all have very diffferent rails so the better option is scatch from evergreen or plastruct
you take a I beam and a half round over, and strip under and balsawood

when you have more than 10mts of models on rails is the only way to have uniform rails.
