Hello!

At the time I'm building Dragon's T 34/76 mod. 1940 and I want to know if Russians were using this 1940 model in Stalingrad. If the were, does anybody have any picture of this tank in time of Battle for Stalingrad?

Jure,
More than likely not, this initial variant saw action in the opening stages of Barbarosa, and most Russian units where enveloped quite quickly by the German onslaught, the model 40's that did not breakdown where either abandoned or destroyed..... At Stalingrad, the Russians where throwing new units across the Volga into the meatgrinder to keep the Germans occupied while their flanks collapsed, these units where equipped with the latest and greatest from the Russian factories......typically model 41/42/43's....

Never say never, but in this case, it be hard to find documentation.

I would agree with Frank , however in such a desperate battle im sure every servicable tank would be thrown into action so never say never

I'm thinking the same. For example - in battle of Kursk Russians were using T 34/76 model 1943, '42 and '41 (I have a picture of those models together in Kursk). So it was possible that model 1940 was used in battle for Stalingrad.
