Hi all,
does anyone know if any one else makes the Panzer 38t other than Italeria? I have the Italeria kit but was not impressed by the quality. Looking for an alternative maker!

Maquette has two Pz.38 kits; Ausf. A- D and a G.
They are tricky to build, but can turn out nice. Eduard and Aber have PE sets for them, Modelkasten tracks and drive sprockets/ idler wheel set are available, Jordi Rubio (sp?) has a barrel for the 3,7cm gun and I think Schatton makes a MG barrel.
Dragon just announded they will do a Pz.38 Ausf. G and I expect thea will continue with other variants.

Yeah Maquette has a kit of this tank too. I have never built it. I am going to assume that its an improvement over the old italeri kit.
But then again maybe its just a reboxing??

Definitely not the old Italeri kit. The kits bear no resemblance to one another. Maquette sells the suspension/track separately so it is possible to dress up the old Italeri kit for little money.
In 1/72 and 1/76 scale, there are a few options. Fujimi does an old 1/76 scale kit that is OK. Attack Hobby does a 1/72 scale series that are rather crude. UM does a fairly nice series in 1/72 scale as well.
