hey, you guys ever wondered who/ or how to make 1/35 scale birds in flight?. The reason i ask is for a diorama of birds flying out of a hedgerow tree line. got any ideas anyone??????? thx

Hi Zalder, birds like these just might be your ticket. They are white metal birds you can find them at the railroad section of LHS. They claim to be for 1/48th scale, but as you can see they are about right for 1/35th. Add some wire or clear rod and you have a bird in flight.

About halfway down this page, Minie Ball MIniatures has three flying quail. There's no picture availble,. but I saw them at World Expo and htey look great for what you are describing.

Yes, John there are ducks, I found them in the same railroad section at my LHS that I got those crows for Kevin. I forgot the name of who makes them. They have crows, ducks, and geese. The geese were very small to use for 1.35th but the ducks MIGHT work, but the crows are the best size wise. If I can help you let me know I could always run out and pick some up for you. Let me know.

when i go to the hobby shop, ill ask them about the O Scale, have you ever seen sparrows or robins in that scale, im looking for a vastly more domestic bird than a big crow

i found some wild birds and animals at http://www.langleymodels.co.uk/ It's train stuff O scale, but the size fitts well to 1/35.
