I don't know about accuracy, but for their time those kits were pretty good. I still have original Matchbox issues of each of them.

I heard that the Morris/17pdr mould had been damaged - obviously another rumour!! That one will definitely be welcomed back.

a lot of people heard of the damaged mould... but no one ever confirmed that one....

The jeep was the best till the 1/72 acadamy came..

the morris is unsurpassed.. the 17 pndr needs some work, but is still pretty good.

The char b1 is still the only thing around in injected plastic at all in any scale.. the renault FT17 is still decent..

Richard

Have you seen the re-issued sdkfz 234/2?

The original Matchbox kit had a spare tyre but that disappeared from the later Chinese re-issues. I am wondering whether the spare is back or whether the mould was modified (to save plastic!!??) and the spare is gone forever.

Someone posted Revell sprue pictures on M-L's Braille scale forum. I counted nine tires, I assume one is a spare.

Thanks Richard and Robin

I was impatient and asked the same question twice.

Put it down to different timezones and the frustration of waiting >12 hours for a response.

Good news about the restored spare wheel though.

I'll have to scratchbuild spare wheel holders for the 234/2 kits that I have that don't include the spare.
