My dio is comming along! :-)
It still has a couple of things that need to be done (finish the grenades, the shovel, helmet, the barrel, ammo pack, and MG ammo rolls)

Gatekeeper,
You're a real busy bee ! Looks nice !
If this is for the contest : shouldn't there be a window (or did I overlook that in your dio ? )

Great job, I just feel that the figure need a little bit more weathering, but it's a matter of personal taste! Really well done, I've been looking for this set from Tamiya for a long time, but unfortunatelly I didn't get it yet.
Keep up the excellent work!

Nice job on the snow, it has real depth to it.
The only thing that sprang to mind is why does this guy have 2 weapons. If the machinegun belongs to him then his personal weapon would be a pistol. Just a personal observation, maybe its just me.
What was the wall made from?
Cheers

GateKeeper:
I checked out your photos---- very, very impressive. The dio actually looks "cold". I reside in "Up North USA" so I see a lot of the white stuff, and your dio's snow/dirt/ice look is very authentic, ----good work!.
Also a neat selection for a scene. As a viewer, it lets my imagination tell me a lot about what might be going through this soldier's mind. Just a nice dio all around.
Good job on the figure also (he does look a little clean for being out and about though).
Congratulations on your progess. Thanks for the opportunity to view and comment.

Looks good. What did you use for the snow on the logs?
I agree - a bit more weathering on the barrel might be a nice touch.

Hey everyone :-)
first things first...Thanks!!! :-) :-) :-)
I didnt know I was gonna get thigs that good.
Yeah I agree...I need to weather everything abit more before its finished...
The snow is something called "santa snow"...its basically snow in a can...you spray where you want it...and *BOOM*...you have snow...
GeneralFailure
The "window" is a rectangular shape cut out if the bottom of the top log in the wall...(in my contest photos Ill take a picture of that so you can see)...
REMEARMR
The STG 44 is own weapon but I was thinking I could attach the MG to the little slit in the log so it would be like a machine gunngers post???...(but thanks...the poor fella needs his side arm...)
Thanks again everyone!!!
