Painting German WWII armour I would assume people who paint with Tamiya use the following German Grey, Dark Yellow, Red Brown and Dark Green or my favorite Olive Green. When building a DAK Tiger what Tamiya colour would be used as Dark Yellow is not close to RAL 7008 Africa?
I have also seen a Tiger 1 DAK build and painted on line and it was finished in a olive green/grey that looked very interesting. I asked what brand of paint and colour he used but never received a response.

From a previous post on ML, my suggested Tamiya paint mixes for the DAK:
1941 Camo, RAL 7008: XF49:2+XF57:1
1941 Base, RAL 8000: XF59:2+XF2:1
1942 Base, RAL 8020: XF59:1+XF2:2
1942 Camo, RAL 7027: XF57:3+XF49:1.
