Is there a conversion to make the M18 Hellcat into an M39 prime mover? If so, for which Hellcat (or both)? I know AFV Club makes an M35 Prime Mover.

Hi Rob:
S Zaloga's book "Modelling US Army Tand Destroyers of WW2" by Osprey features an M39 on the cover. Of the many projects Steve includes, the M39 is the most complex. He used the AFV Club kit.
Sneak a peak at the book and see if it'll be useful to you.

I've been shooting pics of one being restored at Jacques Littlefield's place. I think Jim Lewis has been doing likewise. If you choose to proceed with the conversion, let me know and I'll send you a few pics once my computer at home is up and running again. These are in addition to the ones on my site: M39

Yep! Between Chris and I - I'd wager we've got darned near the whole vehicle covered. I've been gathering them for my own conversion project.

No, I was thinking of one for my 3" gun but I can live without one.
