I started my DML 1/35th Hetzer tank last night. I started putting together the Friulmodel tracks, what a pain in the but. IS there a better way to put the tracks together? I am thinking of making some kind of building block for the tracks.

Thank you for the help.
What CA glue should I use? Thick, med, thin ???
The instrucions just says to add a "drop" of CA to the open end were the wire is put though the link.

I use thick so that it wont run down the inside and make you lose the flexability. Just me though. I also use a toothpick to dab it in. HTH

I use masking tape and a ruler. Double the tape over so it is sticky side up. Lay the ruler across the top to form a nice straight edged guide. Butt the tracks up next to the ruler. I usually do a run of 20 or so links at a time. Insert the wire and cut to length with about 1/8" extra. Insert remaining wires into tracks. Tack in place at the very end with medium to thick CA glue. Trim excess wire. Viola' you're done. "Q"

Kerry

One suggestion given to me in the past was to use 0.5mm brass wire instead of the wire in the Fruil kits. This is much straighter and produces a better result - I've tried it and it works fine.

Hi
first of all, be sure all the holes are really opened with a pinvise.
Then cut the axis beforehand so you can assemble a length which is less tedious.
When needed you'll have to apply a drop a gel superglue to fix the wire/axis inside its location. For the last links, I advise you to cut the axis a little longer than needed to be able to remove the supplemental links.
I don't use any ruler or template but it's up to you.
