I am at the stage of my 1/35 tamiya m1a1 where i am about to put the wheels on. basicaly i need some pointers on how to paint and weather the side of the hull(under the wheels) before moving on. i dont have an airbrush so what would be the best aproach?

Here is my current pallet for the dessert scheme

Tamiya XF57(buff),XF59(dessert yellow), Molak dark earth,Molak gun metal,Tamiya karke. and some mig productions pigments dessert sand (i think it's called)

peace out jon

Welcome to Armorama.

Really, I wouldn't worry about it. Adding in the wheels, and the side skirts, plus the track, and very little is seen. Best bet is to add washes and fading by drybrushes, but don't get too excited, little will be seen.
