Heres a few pictures of my desert ground work,i first painted it in a medium brown enamel,then highlighted it in a lighter colour.followed by a dark wash then a light yellow wash.
i think it may be a bit dark might add some sandy colour powders to lighten it up a bit.

hey there, it looks pretty damn good so far. I think you could use some light tan pastels to blend all the colors together and it would naturally give it a dusty look. Also, when you do this, you can easily blend in you tank with the groundwork with the powders. just my 2 cents

Hi Karl, I think your groundwork looks good! Good positioning of the tree too, but you might want to add in figures to minimize the empty spaces. Anyway, put the tank on, let us have a look!..
