Okay, so as my love affair with Vallejo continues, I have discovered that my LHS may not have all the colors that I'd like. So...I'm considering ordering online.
As winter is approaching here in the GW North, I'm curious as to whether freezing/thawing Vallejo paints will affect their consistency. Anybody have any experience?
Any chemists in the house?
Thanks,
Stu.

I can't speak for Vallejo or acrylics in general, but I have kept oil mixes in the freezer (frost-free freezer) in order to prevent them from drying out...
I would imagine freezing acrylics could case the pigment to seperate from the base though....

Stu,
I frequent a local hobby shop that gets stock shipments in (rail) the winter. I've learned to turn all acrylic paint jars upside down before I purchase them, just to see if the pigment has coagulated, if it has, then you know it has dipped below freezing, and the paint is useless.
