Anyone out there know if 1/48 decals are made for either of the following for LSSAH?

1) Kursk Tigers

2) Tigers in Normandy

Any recommendations appreciated. Thanks.

Try looking at the Quarterkit site for decals, or Heavy-Steel or Perth Military modelling site for links and reviews. Track48 sells some of the Gaso.Line sheets.

I actually found something on PMMS right after I posted my message -- two sheets actually -- one with the decals for TWENTY early Tiger Is, the other with decals for around twelve late Tiger Is -- and these sheets had the decal sets I wanted.

Hussar Productions, available from Airconnection, has a decal sheet with enough marking for almost two dozen Tiger l's from various units on Western and Eastern fronts (and Italy). Markings are only for mid and late production Tigers. Comes with full-color booklet with camo schemes and decal placement as well as the unit location and date. I don't remenber the exact price, but probably around $15 Can. Tel: 905 785-0016; www.airconnection.on.ca
BTW, the decal backing is very thin and fragile, so care is needed when placing some of the decals or they will tear, or even flop in half and stick to themselves.

I might also add, that specifically, there are markings for 6 different Tigers in Normandy from both 101, and 102 Tiger Battalions, including both Wittmann's Tigers #'s 205, and 007.

Right ... those are the ones I referred to in my most recent previous message.
