Question, which are the differences between the Academy and Italeri kits of this vehicle? because I wasn´t pleased much with the quality of the Italeri kit I built a while ago.... thanks in advance

Thanks for the pics HeavyArty, they will help, one more thing do you know where can I find pics of the engine?
Italeri model isn't perfect, but it is not that bad, Eduard makes interior & exterior details so U can build really great model using them, I will post some pics soon so U can see my work

I would fully recommend the book Modelling the M113 Series by Graeme Davidson if you want to construct the Vulcan.
In there he does a little kit bashing and comes up with a mind blowing model.
My only wish was that he placed more photos of how he painted the model and elaborate on each step.

Academy M163 is a better all around model. The Ialeri one isn't horrible, just not as good as Academy's. Academy's M113 series is the best on the market.
Here are some engine photos.
The Academy M113A2 kit comes with a pretty complete engine compartment as well. I have a few extras if you need one, let me know and we can work out some kind of trade.

Verlinden Warmachines series has 2 books on the M113. Warmachines N2 has the M113A1/A2; M106 A1/A2; M577A1/A2. Warmachines N9 has the M163; M901; M48A2
Both have lots of good pics in them. Everything from engine pics to interior pics. Lots of exterior detail pics as well. Highly recommended!
