Sorry for the repost I'm not sure if the first one went through properly
Did WWii M4A3 Shermans (Pacific Marine) use T-48 rubber chevron tracks? I have plenty of reference pics w/ earlier M4A1 Marine Shermans and European Theatre M4A3s and rubber tracks. But all I've ever seen are Marine M4A3s with t-51 steel chevron tracks.
Thanks in advance

Steel tracks
The maintenance personnel who made the decision thought that the rubber tracks were more prone to damage or being thrown in rough terrain. At least that is what they had heard according to my interviews with them.
