I recently lost control, and bought this kit on Ebay. (Good for me. Only $500 bucks worth of "must have" remains.)
I have read reviews, but most of them are very positive about the kit -and I have no idea what could be improved, what kind of aftermarket stuff is worth to buy for this kit.
Any suggestions? Any advice on the building? (I bought some cheap 1/35 armor just to get used to it - I usually build helicopters and planes.) What techniques do you think I should use? Building a tank is much different from what I got used to so far.
(I'll put up the 1/72 t-34 I build in the critique topic.)

Thanks
Martinnnn

Haven't got the kit myself but I guess you can do a lot with:

Electricity cables for head- and rearlights

Some extra work on the engine?

Replacing plastic parts with iron wire

That sort of things?

You could ask MrMox, he has build more than 1 of those kits as far as I know

If you look trough other topics in this forum, you will find other questions and links concerning the T34“s.

Its a surprisingly easy kit to build, just takes a lot of time. - it builds very nice out of the box, but the interior is easy to opgrade if you find some referance on the net.

Be prepared to use a lot of paint .... :-)

It is an excellent kit , it goes together well and looks great.Loads of reference and pics on the net so if you want to do some superdetailing then the possibilities are endless.Even so, if it was built straight out of the box its still a model you can be proud of.

Hi,

all 1/16th T34 are good enough to be built OOB. But if you want to super the model have a look on Part's PEs despite its intended for the T34/85.

http://www.part.pl/

And to get some impressions of built T34 and to get somehow disapointed try the gallery of the Tanxheaven.com website:

(many pictures, download may last long)
