I have an opportunity to buy this kit. Can anyone tell me how good this kit is? Is the fit good? How is the quality of the mold detail? Does it have individual or one piece tracks, etc?
I would like to hear ANY and ALL feedback that board members may have.
Thanks in advance.

I had built this kit, I like it. You have to do a bit work on the lower hull to reposition some of the small supporting wheels' location, other than that the fitting is okay. The tools and details are nice too, well the tools are not super, but they are okay. If you use Aber's PE for it, it will definitly look great! Have fun with this kit, it's a good one.
If you wanna, you can find the picture of it in the gallery under WW II German, Tank Destoryers.

DML's Stug kits are among their best.
I've built the Stug IIIB and StugIV Early. The Stug III was a peach. Very nice molding. I haven't seen the 'A' out of the box, but I'm sure it's nice.
I'm glad these are getting rereleased (again).
Cheers

Couple things about this kit. Read the instructions carefully BEFORE you start. You have to cut a piece out of the superstructure and replace it with another part. You'll need to do this very carefully. You'll also need to cut a piece of the left fender for replacement. Watch the angle. Also at the front of the left fender, you are instructed to remove a light support. This is on skid plate material and will require carefull surgery AND reconstruction or judicious stowage to hide. Attaching the fenders on the III series is a trick indeed. Both my fenders were warped with the right being worse.
yes, this has indy tracks, but they aren't all that difficult.

Hi Al
I remember the Stug IIIB fenders being fiddly, but mine weren't warped. The fit was pretty good, and they look like the fenders on the real thing, kind of flimsy and not square, as if they'd been beat up.
The return roller surgery was the worst part of the StugIIIB for me!
Cheers
