As James says, we used to have a chat-room on the main site but there was no choice but to close it down "thanks" to the abusive behaviour of some of those who joined in. It was a shame - I enjoyed it up 'till then.

A lot of the members are now teaming up via Yahoo! and Skype etc. - which make our old chat-room pretty much redundant.

Mike, instead of using the ole' chat room, why not download and use Skype? It not only has chat, but also with a mic and speakers, best with headset, you can talk live for free with others. Can have 5 person conference calls, and unlimited room chats.
We have a fair numbers of members who use it now. The more the merrier.

I agree with Ken on this..I have been using Skype for a while now..and it is great. It is much better than the standard voice chat of Yahoo or MSN messenger..The sound quality is great with minimal echo. And a big plus is..if you have a headset ..it is totally handsfree..which means..you can model while you chat with your fellow armorama friends.
