Hi all, I came up with what I feel is a fast and easy way to make small bushy pine trees...At least I've never seen this one. This being my first attempt at a How To..please excuse me if I dont make it clear
Material needed:
1)Spray adhesive ( I use Elmers)
2) Woodland Scenics clump-foliage...light green
3) dried flower arrangement stuff...no clue what it is but see photo
4) Snips or scissors
With this dried "whatever it is"..its shaped in the correct form and what I have done is come up with an approximate size and cut it off 1 set of leaves down. This way it gave me finger room.
Next, I start spraying the adhesive at the top and placing clumps accordingly. I placed clumps on the large leaves first and fill in the voids as I worked my way down. note..I was heavy with the spray!
As I worked my way to the trunk of the tree. I continued to spray, Yes it gets a bit tacky, and filled in all voids and any visible leaves..the one nice part about the amount of spray used...is..once all was filled in you can put the tree in the palm of your hand and gently squeeze it into the final shape.
Thats about it..Hope ya like it..What I will do is see if I can find out what the dried "stuff' is!
Edit. On a side note..wherever you clip the piece you decide to use..you can trim the large leaves with scissors to get the desired "pyramid' shape.

Hiya Mr Parts,
Do you sprinkle the Woodlands folliage on or do you dip the dried stuff into the container .
It looks great , but I wouldn't have thought of doing it like this . Did you think this up by yourself or did someone tell you how to do it ?

Hi Jenny, LOL..yup I actually came up with this all on my lonesome. No dipping involved..place the clumps on as desired..fill in as needed and tear smaller chunks as you go. Spray again and go back to step one....spray and place. Took me all of about 15 minutes to make 3 trees. :-)

Cheyenne, Just made these up last nite. Im hopeing to detail them up later today. Ive made 3 so far and will post more photos. The glue is drier than last nite, though just a tad still tacky. All this is experimental..as for results...I'm just as curious Wish me luck!
