Hey lads (and lasses)
Thought that all M4 commanders' split hatches were of the same diameter... Compared the size of the hatch ring b/w DML M4A1 early and BoB M4A3. The latter is much smaller comparitively... Did this reflect the real thing?
Cheers for help

There were two or three models of the split hatch commander's ring but they should have been the same diameter with the opening on the T23 turret of the BOB Sherman (I don't have the kit). Maybe DML took a short cut.. The scoped commander's cupola was interchangeable in reality.

I'm definitely comparing apples with apples here... The split comm. hatch alone, not the vision block mount. Question is, on which did they take the shortcut? Seems all were interchangeable until the BoB M4A3
Hmmmm.....
