i want to hang some bags on my shermans turret,but i dont just want to glue them on.whats the best method????

any one got any pictures or info on how it was done

Sometimes the workshops welded horizontal grab bars to assist mounted infantry. From these, the resourceful crews would strap on their bags and rolls.

Sometimes there were tie downs across the rear turret bustle to stow a large roll or tarp. I've seen bags on this part of the turret as well.

Just remember to impart some sort of sag on your bags and the straps by which they would have been tied onto the turret fitting. Extend straps to show how they mate with the tank using foil. You've probably seen modelers who just glue rolls and bags onto hull/turret sides -- real world situations don't have people glueing bags onto equipment! LOL
