The last of the projects on my desk is the 1/35th ICM Panzer II (F) flamethrower tank. A nice little tank to build. Paint obviously is panzer gray with a raw umber and thinner wash (about 4 to 1) and Mig 'European Dust" pigments. I did try something new with the tracks in that I painted them steel then dusted them with artist black pastels and finally with the Mig European dust ( I readily accept responsiblity for this approach... I came up with it, no one passed it to me). Like to hear comments on the effect. I am not at all pleased with the rubber on the wheels but have gotten some advice in my previous posts. Any thoughts on the 'rubber' color would be welcomed though. I am open to any improvements. Guess my last area I would like to hear is about how folks 'do' thier tools. I paint mine steel then dust with black pastels. Thanks.
The last photo obviouisly is on a different surface. Like to hear which surface folks think provides best pictures. Trying to improve my digital photography. Thanks again.
And now to go diving in my stash for the next set of projects... enjoy

The rust is a combination of the Mig "light rust' and 'standrad rust' pigments... I used both to try and show varying degrees of rust on the exhaust.
I dont know where the gloss comes from... I think from the flash on the digital camera I use. I didnt use any coating on the tank and if I had it would have been a flat laquer. Any suggestions on how to get rid of the glare on my photos would be appreciated.
You are right about the figures. I spaced on the lines... I have only recently started using the figures included in the kits to show scale and add to the model. I will watch that closer in the future.
