Goodday Everyone
My first post, just a quick question. I would like to complete a M113A3 to continue my collection. Yet I'm tried of the same sands/ nato colors.
i would like some ideas of either western Europe, or Middle east Urban color schemes.
I'll take my answer off the air.

There are no current experimental urban camo schemes out there that I know of. There was the British Berlin Bde Camo of the early 1980's. Looks like this:

Not sure if it was ever applied to US equipment though.

More info here.

The U.S. Army used the Dual Tex cam pattern between 1978 and 1981 on M-60A1s and M113s in Germany.

I have an M-60A1 planned for the Dual Tex pattern as a future project.

The Bucket Shop website has a picture of one of the 113s used by the Tucson Police Department. It's a mix of white, greys and black.

Hi,
no answer to your question, just a welcome to THE site.
Enjoy your visits here.

BTW, the French army has experimented a British Berlin brigade like urban camo on AMX10RC recently. I don't know whether or not it has been accepted for service. I'll try to find pics.

Make up your own pattern. Something like the Swedish splinter type pattern in varying shades of grays and black would look cool.

In reply to Jason, there was another pattern that used hex shaped sploches, I remember seeing a pic of an M60A2 painted in the pattern for trial purposes.

My brother drove an M60A3 with dual tex on it while he was in the 3rd/2nd ACR in the early '80s. You can see it better on the side of the M113 than you can on his tank...
