Here is my official entry, a Tamiya 1/35 US Army MP. This figure was made OOB, no tweaking necessary. For all the advents of DML and resin today, the old Tamiya figure kits still come out just fine. I did add a strip of tissue paper on the left arm for the arm band. The MP markings are from the kit, made to settle down using solvaset (and it did a good job too). Painting is entirely done with acrylics.
anyhow...
Now, for a diorama to put it into...

Very good looking figure Jacques! You're right: considering the age of the Tamiya kit this is still a great figure. Nice idea for the arm-band. What paint did you use?

All the paint was acrylic. Base coat was Tamiya Olive Drab and then drybrushed/highlighted with Tamiya Khaki Drab and Tamiya Khaki. White was done with a initial coat of Model Master Camoflauge white and then overcoated with Tamiya White. And a steady hand! :-)
finally started my project, with two weeks to go, typical.so anyway, here is what I hope I can finish for the campaign. the figure has been cleaned up and hopefully will be primed tonite.
