I“m working on the M3A1 stuart from Academy, its a nice little kit, but not too accurate - well, it looks pretty much like a M3 anyway.

I have been searhcing high and low, but cant find any pictures of the underside of the overhang on the rear of the tank - whats up there - mesh, ribs ?

Hey Jan without knowing exactly, I think it would be mesh, but this is based solely on the fact that M4s had this feature... ON the M4 the mesh was up high with a square cut opening for the exhaust outlets to hang down through. I'm sure you will receive more accurate responses than me though

It helps alot, it confirms that when Acadamy supply the kit with a big emty hole under the overhang, then its not that wrong :-)
