I just picked up a couple Tamiya Tiger 1 Initial DAK kits for a real steel. I have heard that one paint scheme was in a olive green kind of colour. Anyone know what colour would be used for this? I use Tamiya and Gunze paints. Thanks.

For Tamiya paint I'd give Khaki a try. Use the Khaki as base coat and then custom mix with varing degree of white, dark yellow for the top coat.
I often find myself custom mix color for my camo rather then using the paint straight out of the jar... For German AFV there is really not a "set" color for it anyway.

You mean the Tamiya's Tiger I Ausfarung Afrika (# 35227) ? If so, you should try sand color or dark yellow. "Art Instructor" the modeler of this Tiger mixed industrial paints to get this color :
