I am in the process of changing from enamel to acrylic paints for the majority of my work. I have been looking for pre-packaged sets to get started. I found the ones from Vallejo and Lifecolor. How are the Lifecolor compared to others? i am working mostly on armor with a few aircraft thrown in for good measure. Most are of WWII subjects. I do both airbrush and brush painting. I am absolutely no good with painting figures, so that is not an issue.

I use Lifecolor paints and like them. Military Hobbies has them and has the sets along with their "weathering agents", which I like as well.

I have not used Vallejo so cannot compare.

There pretty good for the buck id say. i Mainly use tamiya and decided to buy a bottle to try. The paint i got was thick and its a 22ml, twice the tamy size. im currently trying that bottle on a 1/35 brit figure and im pleased with how it brushes on.
