Well I have always wanted to build a T64 ever since I saw the grainy terrible intelligence photos of it when I was in the military in the early 80s.
So I grabbed a T64B Skif kit that the local hobby shop was selling cheap knowing I need stuff to make it work.
My plan is to buy either the Miniarm turret or the new Accurate Armor update set but I need tracks. The kit tracks from my research are a problem.
Modelpoint has been out of stock on the T64 tracks they sell for months. (according to the website). Does anyone know where I can get those tracks or some other track I am not aware of?
Thanks
Rob

You might try VLS. The reason Modelpoint is out of a lot of things is that they filled a big order for VLS. Mind you things are more expensive there.

I'm not an expert in modern russian armor but i think I've seen some photos of T-64s and on that photos it had tracks from the T-72 tank if i recognise correctly. Hope this helps.

Try AFV Modeller shop and Rainbow Ten, both had them in stock a short time ago.

Pedro,
the T-64 tracks are definitely different from the T-72 ones, they're narrower and the sprocket is not the same as well.
I know Skif are releasing a set but can't comment on their quality and accuracy.

Rob, I think Skif makes a set of "indy links" for the T-64 MBT, but I could be wrong. You might also try Armor Track Models. They have an entire line of modern AFV tracks that appear in the back of the Trumpeter 2005-2006 catalog I have, but I'm not sure where to find them. I will look though.
