I am finishing the cab on my GMC compressor truck tonite. Was wondering if anyone has a pic of the MG mount on compressor trucks? I was thinking of adding the mount to give the truck something extra. I'm just not sure if it was a common addition.

Is it a closed cab or open cab version?

If it is the open cab version then the MG mount from the Tamiya GMC accessory kit is the correct one to use.

Most compressor trucks would not have the mount but some would have.

Cliff, it is the open Tamiya cab. I have a couple of the Tamiya accessory kits here, I just wasn't sure if the mount would be appropriate on a compressor truck.

I do have a Masters Production steel cab, but I'm saving it for a Resicast dump conversion.

The mount would have been fitted to some of the compressor trucks so would not be out of place on your model.
