This is a take off of Blaster76's thread but has armorama ever done a panzer ace campaign? I'm reasonably new so maybe I missed it. If not wouldn't that be pretty cool? Have a campaign of panzer ace's throughout the war?

I second to the idea! Does figure of the ace have to be included?

Great idea HellBent:
Make it Tank Aces in general so that Allied people join also. Personally I would do a panzer Ace. Hmmmm So many to chose.

Is there a site or books that detail the exploits of Allied tanker aces? The only one I've ever heard about is the guy who allegedly took out Wittman.
As for the campaign, it sounds good to me also. I already have DML's Johann Huber's Jagdpanzer IV on the shelf, but would also be interested in an Allied tanker if I can learn of any.

Ive even found a site with Russian Tanker Aces. Some interesting stories also how 2-3 KV-1's took out numerous German tanks.

I'm glad you all like the idea! That would be cool to include the allied guys, that could make for some interesting dio's. Does anyone know who to talk to to get this thing rolling?

As mentioned in a post (from Blaster76 Steves) there was SSG Lafayette Pool of the 3d AD who in a Sherman took ot 258 enemy vehicles (I know, I know this wasn't all armour;) took 250 prisoners and killed 1000 enemy. All in 80 days!
He actually survived getting blasted out of his turret but lost a leg from wounds. Survived the war and died in '91... He would be the obvious Allied ace to build, and Creighton Abrams of course...
Cheers
Brad
P.S. Sounds a good idea as a campaign though! As with all aces it seems they went through a few tanks , therefore a few variants to model for variety
