Here are a couple of photos of my Swift boat in progress. I hope to have it finished right after Thanksgiving. I'm not scratching the interior as Steve did .... I'm not up to that just yet LOL. comments welcome.
All in all this kit went together rather easily. The only problem is there is a bit of flash and mold shift lines. You can tell the molds are a little on the older side.

Hi Scott!
I know that the original model by Monogram was released in 1967 (as old as me!) so, although not to today standarts, it is still a good looking model and you have made justice to it!
For those who weren't here at the time, Monogram released two more 1/48 models that made a trio:
- Swift Boat
- RAG Boat
- Command Junk Boat
These were the up-to-date models on Riverine forces back in the late 60's
Back to your Swift, Scott, pay attention to the starboard side tape... it looks a little bit wrinkled near the bow and it will make a difference in the waterline demarcation
Also pay see if you can remove the mold line on the ventilator (it is highly noticeable from the top view).
Keep us posted, please!

Thank you all for the support and suggestions. Skipper Sharp eye on both! They are corrected. I hope to have her finished by Sunday. I will be posting as soon as I can. Thanks again.
