You get rank by how many post you place. Some where around here is a list on how many post it takes to make it to the next rank!!!!. It makes writing and repling to post more fun.

The more posts you make the higher the rank. Once you hit 10 posts you'll have a rank.

At the bottom of this page, after the last page, there is a "Forum Help/Rank Info" link that explains the ranking with regards to forum posts.

And welcome to ArmoramA!

I usually get rank when I spend too much time at the hobby bench. #:-)

I don't know what an E-2 is supposed to be, but you'll loose your innocence of base visitor to start a long steep slow going up if you dare to post just another three times. I already congratulate you on that first "promotion".
And about airlines, I know a few things. Trust me : USAF is not so bad a choice. At least it has a strong chance of surviving 2002 without being bankrupt. Many other big carriers were not so lucky... !

Beer and message boards do not mix. I apologize for my first two posts. I will never post anything again unless it is relevant. I will now go and glue my fingers together to prevent anymore keyboard nonsense. But the United States Airforce is still the heat. :-)
