Hi to all here! I need some information about the furniture from the WW2 period. Actualy from the countries from Western Europe. I can convert the dimenssions in my scale (1/72) if i have the real ones. Dont think that i'm lazy and cant do nothing by my own - i research in google and in our shops here in Bulgaria (stuff from minimum 50 years ago) but they are maden in our stile. But cant find nothing right, find some photos, but they are too smooth and i cant ger the real proportions. I need - chairs, tables every home stuff. But not the things in the homes of richmans i need info about the ordynary homes in England, Germany, France.... during WW2.
If you need a same info about Bulgaria, or bolkans - i can collet and post it for you!
Bye and dont forget me!;)

Are you looking primarily for photographs? If so, I think you could find nice reference pictures of furniture in your public library. Look for English Victorian, French Provencial, and "art deco" styles of furniture.

If you are looking sources of ready made furniture in a certain scale, you will find that both PLUS MODELS and Verlinden, and Custom Dioramics all make a nice selection. In 1/32 scale, you should check for Pheonix Miniatures, which cast an extensive collection in white metal.

Finally, local "dollhouse" shops often have a good supply, or at least can serve as a reference. There area also many books on Dollhouse furniture that would serve as good guidelines and references.

Best of luck!

Thank you!
I follow your advice, finaly i found ready frameworks of chairs and tables in one shop about cheap stuff from china here in bulgaria. They need little work on them but are in the right shape. Its sets (suveniers) which are made as rooms (almist in 1/72;))). I dissasemble all and work alittle bit on them. Wait digital camera from Santa, to show you the final result!
Thank you again - with the periods that you give me "Google" open its secrets for me...i mean i never know that this stuff are called "Victorian";)))
Wish you good 2007 year and happy modeling!
