Does anyone have any info on this kit other than that it's OOP and a rare find?
Is it worthwhile, good kit, not worth it, etc...

I have one. It is a nice kit that comes packed to the gills with extra Italeri parts as well as newly designed DML parts. PM me offline and I can give you a run down on what's in the box when I return home in 2 weeks.

Absolutely one of the best Sherman kits in plastic. You get a nice early M4A1 right out of the box... Plus, a ton of extra parts left over.
The only downside... the tracks are a bit fiddly to assemble... But hey.. Nic proved that it can be done!
The kit is a definitely NOT worth $60+ that people pay for it on Ebay.
You can get a Italeri M4A1 and a very nice upper hull from CMD or Tankworkshop for the same or less money if you shop around.
I believe that this kit was built up in the Modeler's Guide to the Sherman from Ampersand Pubs.... I don't have the book here... but I'd be happy to check for you later...
Thanks,
Tim

Andy--I have the same question. I thought he did it as a joke, but it is in everyone of his e mails. What's going on?

Kencelot--It is a great kit, but like tankshack said, it isn't worth the $60+ it has been going for on E-bay. It has been OOP for a while. Hopefully, the boys at DML will decide to re-release their Sherman kits sometime in the near future (let's hope anyway ).
