Hey lads
Got to the assembly of the spare track holders for the rear hull. Now these appear different to any I've modelled previously, in that the two sides have gaps between each track link 'holder'. I thought there was a welded metal plate behind each of these, so one could not see through to the track links from the side????
Basically want to know if they are accurate...
Cheers for any help
Brad

I don't have the kit but here's a pic of one (note that the outer retaining panels are missing, though)

Hey Roy
Gathering from your Jumbo pic it would seem that all that is included in the kit is the outer panel which they've made the tracklinks attach to...
Sorry for the pic but have you tried to scan anything more than 2D... As you can (almost:) see there are the 4 pieces which look like nothing more than 'E' shapes. To recreate them like the Jumbo pic it looks as though there needs to be a separate panel inserted to close off the gaps...

Hi Brad:
Are you sure that there's not an additional part you need to add? The reason is that the pics you posted are obviously different when compared to the real thing. Then I saw this person's build up:

I don't see the gaps. Did the builder correct them or is there a part with the kit that maybe you're missing?
I don't know either way as I don't have the kit. HTH
