The Roman columns and English Knights will make an interesting mix. Lots of promise as is. If you added some castle walls on the side would that help or hinder the theme?

It looks like an excellent composition. I'm always impressed when someone can put stock figures together into something unique. Having said tat, I'd double check and make sure that the figures you propose using are contemporarys of one another. I'm far from an expert on this period, but it appears that they may come from different eras.

Hello
The crusaders went by places that had belonged to the area of cultural, politic and religious Greek influence before. it is perfectly possible that these warriors were in their road with ruins of temples dedicated to gods that time ago had fallen in the forgetfulness.
I believe that it will be a very interesting, original and reminiscent diorama.
I hope to be able to see the finished work some day

You are beginning to a amazing work here (as usual). It is very hard to imagine the story behind but I'm sure it will be another master piece.
Hope to see the details of your building process.
