Could come in handy. Trumpet/bugle hybrid for anyone planning on doing a diorama of the opening scene from "We Were Soldiers" comes to mind.
I think you are right about the scale issues on the flute. If I remember my band geek days a flute is about and inch in diameter, or a little over 1/32nd inch in scale.

Thanks for another great review, Scott, but I must admit, I'm kinda left wondering why on earth VLS/CD would release a set of musical instruments? Perhaps they're trying to dominate the marching band accessories market....
