Folks,
MR Models of Germany has a 1:35 kit US 120mm M121 Mortar. I'd like to know of this mortar was used in Vietnam? Thanks

Nope. M121 is the current heavy mortar used by US forces. Heaviest mortar for Vietnam era was the M30 4.2" (107mm) mortar as depicted in the Tamiya M106A1 and the US 107mm Mortar & Crew kits.
The M121 replaced the M30 in the mid-'90's.

No, this is much more modern mortar. It was manufactured from 1988 to 1996 and is carried on M1064 vehicles.

Thank you, Marcel. That is what I said. Looks like Vodnik and I were posting at the same time though.
M120 is basically the same 120mm mortar in a ground mount system and is pulled on a trailer/dolly as well.

The M120 ground mount differs from the M121 track mount mainly in the bipod set up altho both can certainly be used as ground mounts.
