I just finished this Tamiya Tiger I early, to which I added some Eduard PE. I got the kit for free so I figured I'd spring for some extras. Fun build, but I think I got just as carried away afterwards with the new camera. This will be my last model for a year as I will be deploying in a few days. Any and all comments and criticisms especially are welcome, I think my mud is still coming out kind of pink.
Had to add a photoshop backdrop to this one:

Mud is a bit pink...

I'm not sure if the rubber on German roadwheels chipped away much, but I know it does on my tank, so I took some artistic license:

Thats about how the rubber could chunk out.If you could ding up the fenders more,or even remove soome, making it look like it had a lot of hard miles between servie calls.
Mud never photographs well, what did you use?
Looks good though. (++) (++)

Anthony,

Really looks good. My M577's chipped at the rubber the same way. I believe it to be very realistic.

Deploying? Gulf "Sandbox??" Dude, keep your head down and a$$ covered. Come back to us and show more of your work.

Come to Colorado and the
are on me!!!

Rock on brother!

Hi Tony

I can't really comment on the kitty-cat as Axis armour isn't really my forte....

But for the mud.... I'd say it looks ok... in fact, it looks exactly like the clay based mud and muck we get on the family farm! So yeah... if this is an African tigger .... spot-on for the mud! If not... erk! :-)

Rudi

p.s. all the best with the deployment!

Great build there Tony. Great paint chipping and scratches. Looks very realistic.

As you mentioned, the mud does look a little light, darken it a little and even dry brush on it to get different tones going.

Fantastic work all round!
