Steve
Welcome to the site Does the version you won come with a resin lower hull? On the earlier DML E8 Shermans some came with a resin lower hull That way you didn't have to remove the mounting plates that were molded on the ex-Italeri hull for rhe bogie units

9009 is the original kit with Italeri plastic hull that needs the VVSS mounts removed so the Dragon HVSS can be mounted.

The one with the resin correction hull is 9009X and has a sticker indicating "easy resin hull."

The last issue kit number was #6811, which was the Shanghai Dragon boxing. This was the first one with a new corrected plastic lower hull.

The incorrect lower hull (#11) in kit number 9009 is also known as Italeri part number B11 and has been around since Italeri's M4A1, M7 Priest, Kangaroo, M4A2, M36B1, etc.

Thanks guys.
I of course only had to look at the instructions to tell me it was the original Italeri hull.
Anyone know where I can get a Jaguar resin hull?!
cheers Steve
