I don't wanna brag or anything.... Oh hell yes I do! I almost fainted when I checked the site stats page and saw that Wednesday saw over 41,000 page views in a single day. We generally average about 10-13,000! Also we have now exceeded 750,000 total since the site went live in December. We may actually hit 1 million by the end of the month.

Forum posts also exceed 5,000 recently. Of which we have 169 users that have posted there. That number should be higher though. If anyone is having trouble with logins or loosing password please let me know!

Cheers,
Jim

It's all a direct reflection of the great product you've produced and the fact that people want to come back and visit on a daily basis. Thx Jim.

I can't help but ask... what kind of bandwidth are you doing?

Paul,
I hope I can laugh when I say this, but.....we have no clue.

Our host is Interland (and before that HostPro) and for our server package they are currently not giving their users any transfer stats. They do on the Win2000 servers but not on the FreeBSD Linux servers. We just submitted a ticket with them a few days ago to give us some idea of how we are suppose to keep tabs on it.

It must be up there though.

Your host is not keeping track of bandwidth eh? Can I get their contact information for them? I've been looking for such a host.

Lol...well I wouldn't say they aren't keeping track somewhere. Just not in a place they want to have to serve up the stats I guess. If we go over our allotment I am sure they will bill us for the overage.

For PHP hosting though I recommend: http://phpwebhosting.com

They claim to not have bandwidth limitations and have little or no other restrictions (cept porn and warez), all for $9.95 a month. I have several of my clients using them, plus an account for me, and no problems to speak of.

Holy Cow!!! You mean I have spent months trying to find a good alternative host for my site and these guys where around all the time? There's got to be a catch. I'll email them and see if they can help me out.

HOWEVER: I just found this in their FAQ:

Q. You say that transfer is unmetered, but is there any limit to the amount I can use?

A. Though we do not have any pre-set limits, you will not be allowed to and/or over five GB of bandwidth/month. If you use more than this only occasionally, then that is fine.

I guess all those motor pool pictures and posting links to other sites really helps us out!
