Hi, quickie question:

Are 20mm ammo cans issued only in Olive Drab?



I've seen sand colored boxes but I guess they were just repainted along with the tank, as I recall they were welded to the bustle racks.

Does this mean that placing sand painted ammo cans in the turret roof or in bustle racks are a no-no?

The "issue" cans with ammo in them Shold be OD or possibly field green. I have seen some at the local surplus store that were repainted sand and had Sharpie markings that they contained Detonators or other "explosive" materials

Concur with Matt, they only come issued in green.
